timeline..

Not quite sure if anyone is still reading this, I haven't written anything interesting for quite a while. Anyway, I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX this August. I hope everything will go well.

I have been jumping from one plan to another this couple of weeks. Somehow my dream of going to medical school is becoming stronger and stronger, so I took a closer look on it. I have an excellent GPA, but I'm lacking in Extra Curricular activities. I think if I really wanna go for it, I should start being active in the service group of my University and try to join a lot of community volunteers too. I also found out that I'll need more physics, calculus, biochemistry, molecular biology and expository writing courses. I think its doable, I just need to be super focus. I got my Associate degree in Nursing - passing the exam will make me a Registered Nurse.. Then 2 more years to get my Bachelor degree in Nursing. I'm gonna try to knock out the extra year that I will possibly need to take all the science and math classes needed to qualify in most medical school. I'm also gonna need more honor classes. I'm qualified to join the Lloyd International Program, the only downside with that is I'll need to study abroad for at least 1semester.I'm thinking I can do that for 1summer semester.. That's about two months of being an exchange student - that's not too bad.

I also got this idea that I should join the Peace Corps first before applying to Medical school, I think that would definitely give me an edge. That means, a Bachelor Degree and a lot of volunteer works for the next 2 years, to be competitive enough to get into Peace Corps. Apply to Peace Corps around Spring 2013 - the application process takes about 6-9months. So while going through the application process, study for MCAT then take the MCAT right before my deployment. Then hopefully, after 2years in Peace corps, I could just go through the process of admission in my target University. It seems like an uphill battle, but I'll be damn if I don't even try..

If money were no object what kind of home would you build?

A sun room overlooking to something like this..
A circle driveway with a fountain in the middle (there's a voice screaming high maintenance inside my head) whatever its my dream!! Lolz
I'm unsure how it's going to work. I want a modern house but I also want a white fence all around it.
for most part, I think I found the whole package of my dream home.. Its on my vision board. This are just one of those things I will add to it, if ever!! :)

My Dream Inner Circle

Who are the people you want in your life? Describe the kind of relationships you envision for yourself. What traits are more important to you in your friends? What does your ideal inner circle look like?

Somehow, I have this Sade song playing in my head, while thinking about the question..
You think I’d leave your side baby
You know me better than that
You think I’d leave you down when you’re down on your knees
I wouldn’t do that

When you’re cold, I’ll be there
Hold you tight to me

When you’re on the outside baby and you can’t get in
I will show you, you’re so much better than you know
When you’re lost and you’re alone and you cant get back again
I will find you darling and I will bring you home

And if you want to cry
I am here to dry your eyes
And in no time, you’ll be fine

You think I’d leave your side baby
You know me better than that
You think I’d leave you down when you’re down on your knees
I wouldn’t do that…♥

*I want to be around fun, happy, loving, positive, accepting and understanding people.  People I can enjoy to be out in the sunshine with, same as strong enough to stick around when the storm is "im'ma coming" and "im'ma staying here for a while"!! Storm is a good thing. It filters the people in your life 'til only the pure remains. It's liberating to let the rain pour sometimes. *

My Leisure Permission Slip

Okay. Dylan bought me a Permission to Dream Journal. He said he constantly catch me drifting off to my la-la-land and I need a place to write it down. He doesn't know I have a blog.. Then this journal is just too cute, I don't wanna ruin it by writing something on it.

Create a life list! What 25, 50, or 100 things do you want to be sure you have done in your life?
I think I have this one covered. click me

List some of the things you loved to do as a child.
Climb aratilis, guava or mango trees and just hang in there, pick something and eat it..

I had a collection of syringe. I would practice putting water on it and injecting it on a small bottle.
Catch and release dragonflies. But before letting it go, I would attach a thread on its abdomen so I could recognize it, if it ever comes back (that was mean)..
We almost always get minor floods, when it rains, so when that happens, there'll be a lot of frog eggs around, and i love looking for it and just poke it or ruin it.. (again, thats mean)
Play paper dolls and barbie.
Read books. I sure do loved my crayola!!
Catch a puffer fish (butete), put it in a bottle and watch it swim.
Play a lot of street games (tagu-taguan, langit at lupa, ps iloveu, patintero, Chinese garter)..
Play jack stones.
Daydream up on the roof. I usually went up there to hang our laundry and the next thing I know I'd been there for hours lolz
Ride a bike.

When was the last time you signed up for a class to learn something just for the pleasure of it? What would you like to learn how to do?

-hmmm, I have never signed up for classes just for the pleasure of it. I figured if its just for fun, I can learn it through reading books or looking it up on the internet.. On the other hand, the tarot classes im taking now can be considered as that. Well, if money and time is not a problem, I would love to take Photography, Web Design, Interior Decorator, Astronomy, Pottery and Cake Decorating classes.
If you were guaranteed to be great at it, what sport would you play? What about it appeals to you?
-any kind of water sports.. Well first off, i love water, I love sailing, I love to be in any kind of water vehicle. But I don't know how to swim. I almost drowned before and since then I never really tried swimming. LOLz i want something thats totally out of my comfort zone!! weird!!

Have you ever wanted to try painting, glassblowing or sculpting? Or some other art or craft? What stops you?
Pottery. I've always wanted to try pottery.. I dont know why.. What stops me? Probably I can't find enough enthusiasm to go for it.. Im sure I can find time if I really wanted to..

If you were guaranteed to be great at it, what instrument would you play?
Violin - i think its amazing and classy and totally musical!!!
